Green Gardens are an art-rock 4 piece from Leeds. They have spent the last 3 years working up to their first substantial release ‘Sauna, Teach Me How to Breathe’, an EP that deals with themes of an imminent environmental apocalypse. Their music is laced with internal emotional struggles with illness and family which creates a special space for the energy and release of the music to sit. The band’s focus is on interesting songwriting and unique structures while avoiding the tiring ‘boys with guitars’ formula. Each Green Gardens song exists as its own moment and experience, and this variety spearheads the bands exciting sound.
