In 2019, Seth Chohan (19) set up two of his own event brands in Leeds (Lucid Sounds and Dirtbox), and notably supported Mall Grab at the Warehouse in December. 2020 saw the release of his debut EP, "Try Me" onto major platforms. The project earnt him plenty of recognition. Some highlights include “Help” and “Black Heart” featuring on BBC Introducing, as well as "Move Like That" featuring on Jaguar's National BBC Hotlist in February. Seth’s work led him to Music:Leeds, who provided him with the opportunity to play at Inner City Electronic in March, alongside artists such as Peggy Gou and Mr. Scruff.
The current quarantine period stands as no barrier for Seth, as he continues to work towards brand new releases. His latest tune "Unlock Deviation" releases with Newcastle based brand "Daze" this week, who have hosted Chris Stussy and Prunk in recent times. Seth is also organising a mix series with his brand Lucid Sounds, "The IsoTapes", which is panning through a multitude of genres, including Breakbeat, Techno and several sub-genres of House.
Seth’s familiarity with the Leeds scene is ever-growing and he is set to hit the ground hard in the new decade with captivating shows, new releases and further displays of his versatility.
