Jasmine performs an interesting blend of Jazz and Hip-Hop which creates a unique and current sound. The band is inspired by artists including MF Doom, MadVillain, Soweto Kinch, Karriem Riggins and more.

Since the band formed in September 2017, they have performed at some of Leeds' most popular Jazz venues such as The Wardrobe, SevenArts, and The Hyde Park Book Club.

They have also supported international jazz musicians Trish Clowes, Ross McHenry, and Nubya Garcia; and have performed at some of the UK's most renowned Jazz festivals including Marsden Jazz Festival, World Island and Manchester Jazz Festival.

In July 2018, Jasmine was selected to take part in the 'Jazz North Introduces' scheme, which supports emerging artists in the north. This was a huge achievement for the band. They later went on to release their debut EP 'Bring to Light' in April 2019.

The band have now began working on their debut album, which is due to be released in July 2020.
